HotHouse Results

After a fantastic week - where all of our teams worked really hard our judges selected 3 of them to come and visit them to pitch their ideas.

This years ICT Youth Challenge 2008 Winning team was ICT Unit from Nairn.  They have been chosen to visit MIT Media Lab in Boston during September to pitch their idea!

Team Mini-Tek from Nairn have been selected by BT to visit their research labs in Ipswich and pitch their ideas while the Inspired Ideas were chosen by Microsoft to visit Seattle to visit their HQ and pitch their idea to a number of senior executives.

Well done to all teams and watch out on this site for next years compeitition which opens soon!

The HotHouse Teams

6 teams from around the Highlands have reached this year's HotHouse final which will take place between 23rd - 27th June 2008 at Fairburn Activity Centre in Marybank.  The teams are listed below.

New Bebo Page Launched!

All previous and current participants in the ICT Youth Challenge are being encouraged to keep in touch through a new Bebo page.  If you have participated in the competition since it started in 2003 check out the Bebo site by clicking here and make ICT Youth Challenge your new best friend!

First Pitch - Results

Yesterday's event was a great success and the judges loved the presentations each team gave.  Although there were one or two technical faults, these did not impact on the decisions the judges eventually made in awarding the 16 teams below places at the Forum event - to be held on the 18th March 2008. 

If your in one of the teams listed below - your teacher will receive login details next week for you and your team members so that you can access our Secure Team Site where you can get feedback on your presentations from yesterday and prepare for the Forum.

Competition Launched!

This years competition has now been launched!  In the very near future a member of the Youth Challenge team will be contacting your school/youth group or community group to see if they can come in and tell you more about the competition.
